Discover your unshakable inner leader

Nurture your capacity for Self Leadership that is already within you. Live from a place where you can meet all life’s challenges with freedom and ease.

No exceptions.‍ ‍

The potential…

What if…you could meet everything life throws at you with confidence, clarity and courage?

What if…there is nothing wrong with your capacity to do this, no matter what you’ve experienced or are experiencing?

What if… you could live with a sense of inner freedom, not bound by life needing to be a particular way?

  • I combine Executive Coaching with Internal Family Systems (see below for descriptions of both). In real terms, this means I offer a space for you to bring your whole self, as it is, no holds barred. I will help you discover your unlimited capacity to lead your inner world with wisdom and patience, which will make leading the outer world effortless.

  • Executive coaching is typically considered to be a tailored, confidential, one-on-one partnership between a trained professional coach and a leader designed to enhance leadership skills, improve performance, accelerate development, and achieve specific organisational or personal goals.

Unlike mentoring or consulting, executive coaching is not about giving advice but rather facilitating self-discovery and growth to improve performance.

  • IFS (internal Family Systems) is a method created around 30 years ago by a Psychologist who also worked at Stanford University and has been steadily growing in popularity ever since.

It is primarily considered a therapy method, however it can be applied to any human, and is a powerful way to identify blockers and drivers of behaviour that, once brought into awareness, have the power to affect all aspects of life.

It’s full potential to apply to the business world is still being developed, however its utility is recognised in the Law Industry, for example.

  • I am not your average Exec Coach. I will not make make you come up with action plan on how to achieve your deliverables (unless you want to). I will not give you advice (again, unless you ask for it. And even then, you may need to ask more than once!). You are the expert on you. And I am not a typical therapist. I will not say, ‘Tell me about your childhood’ (again, unless you want to). Our work does not need to include the past, although it may well do if it is something that is still here in the present. So what do I do?

From: Brene Brown, Dare to Lead

“To be the person who we long to be we must take off the armor, put down the weapons, show up, and let ourselves be seen.”

What I will do….

I facilitate self discovery.

Which means what exactly?

I will help you uncover your reality. How it really is for you. This may sound obvious but many of us have blind spots or parts of ourselves we wish weren’t there, and so try to ignore or block out. This may leave us feeling divided, inauthentic, confused, torn or just low level uneasy.

I will help you discover what you really want. This can be surprisingly hard. Often we have goals we have adopted from others, or think we should or must do.

What is really getting in your way? It’s so easy to conclude, ‘I just don’t have time. I have too much to do and not enough staff I can trust’. ‘My family need me’. ‘I don’t get any peace to gather my thoughts’. ‘I am doing 10 people’s jobs’s’, ‘I don’t get enough support’. These may all be your reality, and I will invite you to check if there are any internal obstacles that may be operating outside of awareness.

So I invite you to ask yourself,

“What is in the way of you and true wellbeing?”

About me

Hi, i’m Claire,

I’ve been travelling to this path my whole life and there is nothing I’d rather do. It might be a common story. After a challenging childhood, I decided the best way was to find out everything I could about human behaviour.

About why they sometimes feel so much pain they can’t go on.

About why they sometimes hurt you.

About why they sometimes cannot love.

So I trotted off to university to study Psychology. I was offered a scholarship to do a PhD on the effect of the martial relationship on children. Great! i’ll find out all the why’s and everything will feel ok.

Except it didn’t. I still felt at times that life would overwhelm me. I did not feel as ‘bulletproof” or powerful as I had hoped having gained academic knowledge.

I then met an occupational psychologist at a conference who was using her knowledge in a leadership consultancy. Wow. Getting to help people who have a huge impact on lots of other people? Yes please! So I worked there for a few years, flying around the globe helping leaders’ development.

But I had started to fall out of love with Western Psychology. It all seemed so superficial. At that time, cognitive behaviour type approaches were popular, but nothing was changing for people. I sensed there was something missing.

So I turned to Eastern Philosophy and instantly knew I had found the answer. I appreciated the power of the human meaning making process - our inner world determines our outer world. And how the words we use can be clumsy representations for our inner world. And how we can truly connect with each other (spoiler alert, this involves inner connection first!), to live wisely and with ease.

After 10 years of immersing myself in it, I decided to train in skills I really believe are capable of profound transformation - Internal Family Systems and Mindful Meditation, along with Executive Coaching. I am passionate that execs are people who need this the most yet access it the least. Leaders have a huge impact sometimes on a large number of people. Its hard to lead externally if your inner world is in conflict, fractured or unintegrated.

This combination allows me to be with another person with full respect and unconditional acceptance. It offers a safe container for brave exploration.

This journey has given me an unshakable belief that there is nothing wrong with me. Or you.

Don’t believe me? Let me show you.

Working with me

  • Embodied

I will invite you to go beneath the story. Words are only a part of our reality. What else is there?

  • Ethical

You always have a right to privacy. You don't need to share anything with me you don’t feel comfortable. You don't even need to tell your story.

  • As you are

Our space is an opportunity to Be As You Are. I will make no demands of you. I will meet you where you are. I will respect your pace of work.

  • What do you truly want

I will invite you to consider what you really want. What is your hearts’ desire? This can be hard to discern in our modern lives.
